Inspiration is from the original windows8 logo design and only with a new pattern re-think. This is a concept draft! Metro UI is almost TOO SIMPLE TO BE TRUE, but Wow... I LOVE METRO UI CONCEPT much more than plain icons...

Win8 is about METRO UI and TOUCH SCREENS. First impression: a screen with 4 metro apps, so that people can recognize it anywhere INSTANTLY. (a) surrounding frame means it covered/powered by "windows 8". (b) metro-fied window in HD 16:9 instead of a square box represents the REVOLUTION. Fact: metro ui has no static visual effects for boxed & colored Apps, which are the information or spirit a MEANINGFUL logo should delivers or possesses... only if at perfect conditions though...

However, I can not imagine how much more COMPLICATED it could get to develop such "SIMPLE" apps (even with the prepared "fantastic" developing tools)! I also can not believe how much HARDER it could get to manage Apps in the Windows Store!! And i'm keep asking myself: is this really from the world's #1 software company?!! We have to appreciate Google's work a lot on all the App concepts (same on browser itself), either on ease of app creation or the efficiency of USER MANAGEMENT at the web store (i agree that browser side user management needs a bit more attention for few conditions and aspects), not to mention 99.9% of Apps are PLANNED TO BE CREATED BY PUBLIC AND FREE TO PUBLIC, 99.9% not 0.1%, majority of its thousands of Apps (& counting) are in good quality too by the way!!

One more thing, how many versions of Win8 are in preparation? 7 again or "upgraded" to 12 this time? Same to many massive organisations out there, LOOSEN UP on the BUSINESS "TACTICS" PLANNINGS a bit and put a bit LESS FOCUS on the competitors, start to think on how to make your products bring more good to more of your kind who made you a successful company today!

(PLEASE DON'T BE RAGE AT ME AS WE TALKS ABOUT SOMETHING WHEN WE CARE ABOUT IT!)
